PROJECT MANAGER & OPENTEXT VIM SOLUTION EXPERT (M/F)

About the job

The OpenText VIM Solution Expert & Project Manager works on SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) implementation projects.

 

They are responsible for the end-to-end management of fixed-price projects, from the pre-sales phase through to final delivery. They ensure compliance with contractual commitments in terms of cost, quality, deadline and scope, while driving customer satisfaction.

 

Drawing on their project experience and past implementations, they act as the functional and technical authority for the project teams they support on the Process Director solution. Reporting directly to the VIM Technical Director, they serve as their right hand and primary escalation point.

  • Lead fixed-price projects (application maintenance, development, integration, etc.)

  • Ensure contractual (Contracts), quality (QAP), and security (SAP) compliance, as well as the governance model agreed with the Client

​

  • Manage project teams (tech leads, developers, QA, etc.)

​

  • Manage client relationships and provide regular reporting

​

  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective action plans

​

  • Participate in pre-sales phases: estimation, proposal drafting, pitches

​

  • Guarantee project profitability and adherence to contractual commitments

​

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans

​

  • Ensure knowledge capitalization and project post-mortems

​

  • Provide regular reporting to the Client and internally to Operations Management

​

  • Support the Commercial Manager in negotiating contract amendments

  • Master’s degree / Bac+5 (Engineering school, University, or equivalent)

​

  • Significant experience (at least 5 years) managing fixed-price projects within an IT services company (ESN)

​

  • Significant experience (at least 8 years) in the P2P process and OpenText VIM, with hands-on technical & functional achievements

​

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid)

​

  • Excellent communication skills

​

  • Leadership, rigor, and a strong client-service mindset

​

  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.)

​

  • Professional English proficiency (often required for international projects)

​

  • Experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 environments is a plus
