TECHNICAL DMS CONSULTANT (M/F)

About the job

The DMS Consultant works across four key areas, ranging from Java development to document platform integration, with progressive upskilling on ECM solutions.

  • Java Development : Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, integration scripts, metadata, and document workflows.

  • ECM/Middleware Integration : Java connectors to SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and corporate IT systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Archiving & Lifecycle ManagementRetention policies, legal archiving, document digitization, and retention schedule management.

  • Security & APIs : SSO/LDAP/Active Directory, securing document APIs, permissions management, and access audits.

  • Fixed-Price Projects (Turnkey Projects)Estimation, commitment to Quality/Cost/Deadline (Q/C/D), drafting functional/technical specifications (FSD/TSD), testing, operations, and client knowledge transfer.

Java Experience : 

  • 1 to 5 years of experience (from intermediate to advanced) with proficiency in Spring Boot, Maven, and REST APIs.

  • Advanced skills in microservices, JPA, Spring Security, or Kafka are a strong asset.

Code Quality & Rigor

  • Solid practice of JUnit unit testing, clean documentation, and code reviews.

DMS/ECM Specialization

  • Prior exposure to document management challenges (through internships, projects, or training) is a major plus.

  • A strong drive to acquire expertise in leading solutions such as OpenText, AODocs, or equivalents.

Scoping & Delivery

  • Ability to lead technical workshops, contribute to project scoping, and participate in workload estimations.

  • Experience with fixed-price project delivery (adhering to Quality, Cost, and Deadline targets).
